Capitol Hill Rowhouse

Design renovations and addition to a 740 square foot semi-detached rowhouse in the Capitol Hill
Historic District. Obtained necessary approvals from the Historic Preservation Review Board and the
Board of Zoning Adjustment. The front façade was renovated to restore window openings to the
original sizes and increase light in the front of the home. The open floor plan, increased natural light
and view through to the new courtyard garden give the compact home ample space and connection
to nature. A new 500 square foot rear addition contains a ground floor living room, second floor
bedroom and a green roof and terrace.
